- Detect: System detects an anomaly; status is flagged as
detected. - Acknowledge: An engineer clicks the
[Ack]button on/incidents, adopting ownership. - Triage: Action: Evaluates severity (Low/Medium/High/Critical).
- Mitigate: Temporary patch is applied to restore minimal operational bounds. Engineer hits
[Mitigate]. - Resolve: Root cause is decisively identified and permanently fixed.
- Postmortem: Action: Engineer presses the
[Postmortem]trigger to unlock a rich text editor for capturing qualitative learnings.
